Good morning all.
First let us give praise and thanks to the god YME, because the blessings and grace we can gather in this room in good health.
Dear counselor, and
my dear friends.
In this opportunity I would like to present a speech about the importance
of education for human beings.
Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of
learning and process of learning so that learners are actively developing his
potency to have the spiritual power of religion, self-control, personality,
intelligence, noble character, and skills needed for him and for the other
people.
From the statement i have several points. They are the first, developing
potency to have spiritual power of religion, the second, self-control, the
third, personality, the fourth, intelligence, the fifth, noble character, and
the sixth, skills.
I would like to elaborate them one by one so that after this speech you
will be very sure that your education is really importance.
-The first is
developing potency to have spiritual power of religion. What does it mean?
Life without religion is chaos. Life is like a jungle. The stronger will
eat the weaker. There isn't any fairness. But a religion comes to make it well
ordered because religion means people believe to something that doesn't appear.
People will think something right and wrong.
And the higher knowledge of religion will be only gained by education. The
higher education, the more spiritual power people have.
-The second is self
control.
Education makes people able to control their self. How can education
control it?
In education
environment, people learn and get some rules. The easy example is rules at
school. Students should obey it. By obeying the rules means the way to control
their self.
-The third is
personality.
People's personality is built up in educated environment. People know how
to behave and react. People may also know how to do something better.
-The fourth is
intelligence.
Intelligence should be sharpened. The place to sharpen the intelligence is
educated place such as school. The logical opinion is when people must
have different intelligence. Education will lead the intelligence to maximum.
-The fifth is noble
character.
Noble character is a way how people will still alive although they have
died. Noble character is only gained with well education. Street won't do that.
Education mainly teachers as the subject will tell you how to speak with elder
people. They will also tell you how to do right things. Those what we call
noble character.
-The last is skills.
Skills make people worth to real life. Skills also give people better job.
The skill is only gained by well education.
Can you imagine if you are a manager, and one day someone comes to you and
requests a job in your company. Of course you will hire him/her if he/she has
good skill, right?
